Morris, 60 is the third and last generation to own and work his family's farm on Jenks Road in Cary. He and some other residents in the Green Level area will lose their homes and property as the N.C. Turnpike Authority starts construction on the Outer Loop extension called the Western Wake freeway. "I love it out here and farming is all I know," he said. "But you run a six-lane highway, high tension power lines and a major sewage line it splits a community. Ruins it. But what can you do. The decision's been made."\n
